Silver lapis lazuli ring, unusual, size 10, detailed carvings

I have had this ring forever to sell but every time I go to list it, I give up. It’s not sterling silver but it’s not like the silver tone metal they use for fashion jewelry; it’s heavy, weighing in at ten grams but it’s not a smooth metal like titanium. So, what I’m saying is I don’t have a clue what the metal is (pot metal?). It looks old to me. I think the center stone is lapis but I’m not positive. It’s got a symbol inside the ring but I have no idea what it means. Can you see why I’ve avoided listing this ring? I know next to nothing except it’s round and looks old and has cool carvings in the metal! Please see all photos for more details.

EDIT—I did the acid test again and I think those lines are blue but I am color blind and not 100% sure. That’s why I included the picture.

EDIT 2–I sent the picture to two different people and they both said the lines aren’t blue so I am back to I have no idea what metal it’s made of.
