I made a bold shawl coat by washing and re-weaving my grandmother's mud-dyed Oshima.
Since it was an antique kimono, I chose areas with minimal damage to make it, making it a one-of-a-kind piece.
The pattern is instantly recognizable as Oshima, resulting in a luxurious coat.
The sleeves are designed to be folded back.
The hem is not yet finished.
It measures 108cm with a 1cm fold and 106cm with a 4cm fold.
