Liberty’s designer overnight/hand bag

Gladstone-style leather-trimmed fabric overnight or hand bag made from an historic Joseph Frank designed linen featuring a bright tulip design on a black background. Joseph Frank’s designs are considered unique in C20th textile design and this design is called Tulpaner. The bag is lined in black cotton with an inside zipped pocket and has leather handles and closing strap, and brass rivets. The opening has hard edges in the style of a Gladstone bag. Originally bought in Liberty’s in London. In beautiful clean condition, minimal signs of wear on the leather handles and a tiny mark on one of the tip lips - see photo. A quality unusual bag in great condition.
