Weight & Size Approx: (ruler next to specimen in last photo)

Half-cut Oregon Thunderegg with a beautiful exposed agate center and natural outer rhyolite shell. This old stock specimen comes from an older collection and showcases the distinctive characteristics that make Oregon thundereggs world famous — intricate banding, chalcedony filling, and rich desert matrix.

This piece is old stock material from an older collection, making it increasingly hard to find in the wild. Oregon thundereggs with strong color contrast and natural half-cut display are especially desirable to collectors.
